Helms, Phillip

Mr. Helms is a resident of Circleville, OH.  His daughter attends FCA and his wife is a long-term substitute teacher for FCA.  He has taught history at the collegiate level for 19 years and taught at the high school level for over 7 years.  He became part of Fairfield Christian Academy in 2022.  Mr. Helms earned his B.A. in History (Magna cum Laude) at Fayetteville State University, his M.A. in History (Honors graduate) at Fayetteville State University, and his Ed.D in Educational Leadership (ABD) at Liberty University.  He enjoys playing golf, fishing, reading (especially history and politics), and visiting historical sites.  Their family attends Circleville Christian Church where he serves as an associate minister, trustee, curriculum designer, and director of House 2 House ministries.  Life Verse:  Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
